26 Jan 2018 - To Market, to Market...(CKB)

Braved the elements to learn how to use the Tram and get to a market this morning.  The Tram is AH-MAZING.  A trip that would have taken an hour on the bus before, now takes 15 minutes.  Its life changing.  And simple enough that we could figure it out.
Through the family coughing spasms and the Olympic Brother Hasseling, we made it easily to Mahane Yahuda.  Think Reading Terminal Market in Philly.  We grazed on samples of halva, splurged on Turkish Delight (mango and rose flavor!), found the 25 shekel wine, an amazing bakery (or five), and were seduced by a cheese shop.  We'll be back...
Watched the Wonder Woman movie as a treat and made shakshuka for dinner (yum).  There was something very cozy and satisfying about shakshuka, fresh challah, wine, and a movie in our lovely, warm flat.

To those who have watched us stressing, cleaning, planning, and sweating way too many details over the past few months to get here  - it was all worth it.
